This homestay is part of Government sponsored initiative to assist tourists to stay outside the centre of cities and experience life in an Indian home.

Rooms have clean bathroom with wall mounted shower, hot water geyser, modern toilet with western seat & bidet.

Fresh bed linen, fresh bath towels, quilts / blankets, toilet paper roll, bathing bar, shampoo, hand soap provided at no extra cost.

Electric room heaters are provided during the winter months (Dec-Feb)

Main area attractions include TDAC Nyingmapa Monastery, Satya Sai Baba Temple, Brahma Kumari spiritual organization and Yangchen Gatselling Tibetan Settlement.

We are located at a distance of about 10 Kms. from The Mall Road/Shimla City Centre. Taxi charges INR 350 to INR 500 for one side trip. Alternatively, a bus charges INR 10-15 per head.

There is no Elevator or electricity Power backup.

Room service is not available.

We do not provide Lunch at home.

House-keeping provided only on request.

We do not allow loud music or noise in the guest rooms.

Simple vegetarian dinner can be prepared at home, on prior intimation, for a nominal charge.

We do not serve non-vegetarian dishes & alcohol at home. However, we do not place any restriction on the same being brought in by the guest from the market.

Meals can also be ordered, through us, from restaurants as per their actual food menu prices and delivery charges.

Take a long walk in the jungle, visit the famous hills, shrines and water falls of Kemmanagundi or just kick back and enjoy the distance from urbanization. The Homestay is surrounded by a wide variety of flowering plants and fruit trees.

Tariff
Rs.1, 750.00 per person per night inclusive of all three meals (home cooked food, Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian/breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening tea with snacks) Meals are on a fixed menu basis. Children below 5 years complementary (share parent’s bed) children 6 to 12 years will be assessed 50 percent of adult tariff. The above rates are applicable for additional person/persons sharing the same room. Driver stays free.
