‘BARUAHS B-4′ is a beachfront one-bedroom AC apartment in the peaceful locality of Baina in Vasco. The apartment is on the second floor of the new Anand Square building. Baina Beach which is just two-minutes walk from the apartment offers a wide range of adventure sports including UNDER SEA WALKING. Baina Beach is the only place in India where one can take pleasure in coming face to face with the exquisite creatures of the Arabian Sea.
HOW TO TRAVEL:
Since your train terminates at MADGAON STATION, which is 30 km from VASCO, you have to take a cab from the station. The pre-paid counter is near Platform 1. There are two options — You can either hire a motorcycle taxi or a four-wheeler. Motorcycle taxi will cost you around Rs 100, while a taxi (Maruti Van) will cost around Rs 600. You have to tell them to take you to Vasco. Then they will ask you “within the city or outside?” Be specific and tell them Baina (Near Sanjeevani Hospital). The Apartment is near this hospital. Once you reach this place just ask anyone where Anand Square is.
COMMUTING FROM BARUAHS B4:
If you like to come to the main city (Vasco), you will get buses right from the building coming to the city. Buses run from 6 am to 9 pm. The board on these buses read BAINA TO VASCO AND BACK. Ticket will cost you Rs 4 (one-way). You will also get motorcycle taxis (locally known as Pilots) right from the building. Actually the distance from the apartment to Vasco city is not more than a kilometer. If you ever want to walk it, take the over-bridge. The overbridge is on the right-hand side of the road before the beginning of the flyover. If you take the flyover you will have to walk more.
