India is hosting the PATA Travel Mart 2008 to be held in Hyderabad from September 16 to 19.
The Travel Mart will be followed by the PATA Board of Directors Meeting from September 19 to 21.
The Tourism and Culture Minister Ambika Soni is scheduled to attend the inaugural function of the event.
The PATA Travel Mart is a prestigious tourism marketing event designed to bring international buyers from around the world and sellers from the Asia Pacific Region together, with the objective of increasing tourist arrivals to the region.
The PATA Travel Mart 2008 in Hyderabad is expected to be attended by approximately 1000 buyer and seller delegates from the world over.
The venue of the Travel Mart is the Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
